What you’ll do:

• Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Support resource teacher(s) in deliver IEP’s (individual education plans)
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators

At Scoot, we support you by:

• Listening to your needs and preferences before matching you with assignments
• Providing you your very own designated Scoot consultant – most of our consultants used to be educators so they can advise based on their experience
• Doing 1:1 check-ins and discussing school feedback with you, positive and constructive

Application requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or 48+ college credits
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Take a TB Risk Assessment & Background check (we’ll cover the cost of this on your first check!)

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Experience working in K-12 schools
• Spent time in special education settings
• Any SpEd-specific training
• ABA experience (applied behavior analysis)
